: : : : I am looking for a book of the complete "Fifty-Three Stations

: : : You might want to check out abebooks.com (Advanced Book Exchange). They have a network of booksellers all across the country and can readily access art books from the most pedestrian to the really obscure. They haven't missed yet with anything I've been looking for.

: also a good book search www.bibliofind.com

As far as I know there is no full size complete English version of the Tokaido series. The best Japanese version in my opinion is "Tokaido gojyu san Tsugi:Hiroshige kara Gendai Made" published by Dai Ichi Houki, Tokyo, 1985. Very expensive but worth every yen. My own book "Rediscovering the Old Tokaido: In the Footsteps of Hiroshige", Global Oriental, Folkestone, UK, 2000, has the complete series in full colour but slightly smaller than post card size.
