: : : Is anyone aware of any Kiyoshi Saito reference books which list all of his works? Also, are any of his prints signed with edition numbers?

: : : Any information regarding how to value his works would be appreciated. Thank you!!!

Recently, while surfing the net to see if we could find anyone interested in wood block prints by Kiyoshi Saito, we came upon your request for information about his work, value, etc.

In 1965, while in Tokyo, I met and bought several of his wood block prints. One print is a limited edition, so marked, and personally signed by him for me.

I have two beautifully assembled catalogs of his woodblock prints (written in Japenese - one with some English) - published 1997 and 1999.

Our local newspaper occasionally carries a full page ad by The Floating World Gallery, P.O. Box 148200, Chicago, IL 60614. They are searching for Saito prints to purchase.

I have several books with references to Kiyoshi Saito, one an out-of-print edition by James Michner.

I would be interfested in hearing of your Kiyoshi Saito collection.
