: Arthur Fick, in Chats on Japanese Prints (1915), talking about the work of Kwaigetsudo, mentions that "Excellent full-size reproductions of several of them are obtainable." Ficke wrote in 1915. Are such full-size XIX th century/early XXth century reproductions easily available nowadays ? How common are they ? Who produced them, and for what market ? How close are they from the originals ? Are they "collectible" ? I am interested in these copies because, as warns Ficke, "With these reproductions the ordinary collector will be obliged to content himself, for the whole number of Kwaigetsudo prints can scarcely be more than a score or two." Any information would be welcome ! Thank you.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any information on Kaigetsudo reprints or reproductions.
