I likewise can offer no translation of the text but may be able to help a bit. The prints are from a set Chushin gishi komei kurabi 'Comparison of the famous loyal retainers' i.e. the 47 Ronin. The text is by Ippitsu-an. Top left is No. 17 of the set and shows Hayami Tozaemon Mitsutaka striking at a foeman who is falling over a bonzai pot. Top right, No. 30, is Otaka Dengo Tadao fending off bales of charcoal. Bottom left, No. 28, Oboshi Seizaemon Nobukiyo [Lt] fighting Suto Senemon [Rt]. Published c.1848 by Kobayashi-ya Matsugoro. I illustrated another from the set in 'Later Japanese Prints' (Phaidon, 1978) Pl.6.
Hope this helps,
Regards, Dick Illing
