: I am seeking information regarding whether there exist reproductions of this work entitled "Koso Go Ichidai Ryaku Zu" by Uttagawa Kuniyoshi. I understand that this was a set of 10 prints possibly published by Iseya Rihei. They are said to depict ten scenes from the life of the famous Buddhist master Nichiren. Any information on the subject would be most greatfully received. Thanks!
Your information about the set of ten prints relating to the life of Nichiren seems to be correct. The set is thought to have been published in the early-mid 1830s. Most works on Kuniyoshi will illustrate at least one or two of the set. The catalogue of the Riccar Museum exhibition of Kuniyoshi (1978) illustrates all ten [in black and white] plus two variant printings of the most famous 'Nichiren in the snow' Is there any specific point about the set for which you need information?
