Try examining the signature by tilting the sheet a little, back and forth, under good lighting. A stamped signature will have a uniformity of depth and impression that betrays its being impressed into the paper. Written signatures look like pencil markings, not always uniform, with line variations in depth and width, often reflecting light with the expected appearance of graphite.
