Dear Pierce Molony,

It will be always a pleasure to see more scans from (unknown) prints and to try and find out more about their background. But I'm not that keen on talking about values (and so is Mr. Johansson I think). It all depends on so many things and (to be honest) I'm really not interested in this subject, except when I try to buy one of course (haha). To best thing you could do is going to a "connoisseur" and ask for a appraisal. Lot's of collectors do that to determine the right ensurance value of their prints. Values might vary from a few dolars to half a million and yours is somewhere inbetween ;-). The state of the print is sometimes less important then you might think, although, considering your print, I could add that Kuniyoshi's warrior and landscape prints are generally valued higher then his kabuki prints.

I hope this answer helped you a bit.

Yours truly, Theo de Kreijger
