I am to print several editions from this late Edo keyblock which was delivered to me yesterday. I pulled several proofs last night (the block is cherry, in good condition and within about 1/64" or less of flat). One side is carved with an oban actor descending stairs and the reverse is carved with two chuban festival scenes. The kento (not shown) abutt the images.

The prints I am to pull are for fund-raising by a large art museum. full-sized images may be found at http://www.mlyon.com/temp and I may be emailed directly at mailto:mikelyon@mlyon.com

I am particularly interested in seeing color images of original prints from these blocks, as I'll be carving additional color blocks for these editions. Any assistance you can offer will be greatly appreciated!
