If 3x5 means "inches" then this print is probably from a collection of late wood block copies. Not to long ago I got one with the same measurements in a more then perfect condition. It appeared to be a woodblock print, but also an almost perfect copy after a 3 times larger original. Just like yours, which is after a very famous design by Hiroshige (use Google to find it). My guess is that someone had put the original design photographically onto wood blocks and had them cut and printed by a professional. This probably to sell to foreigners as a reminder of Japan. There were lots more were my print came from and all prints showed famous prints of courtisanes, actors and landscapes. All beautifully printed.

This is my print with exactly the same measurements: click here for the copy. The original is about three times as big: click here for two scans of originals. The differences are mostly in the seals.
