Thank you. I thought so. This means that you can not date a print with the help of censorīs and/or zodiac seal. The prints could be later but made with the original woodblocks. If the publishers seal is missing, does that mean that they are? I have some prints from the Tokaido Jimbutsu series by Hiroshige with censorīs and zodiac seals but without publishers seal. The quality of some of the prints is not so very good. Is my conclusion that they are later correct?
