: Assuming that you have access to a university library, I am sure that you will be able to find some useful literature on Harunobu's work, though. As he is one of the most prominent ukiyo-e artists, there is quite a lot of reference literature available in various languages. However, not knowing the scope of your study, I'm not able to give you advice on specific titles.

One book that may be of help and not too hard to find is from the Kodansha series Masterworks of Ukiyo-e. The title is Harunobu, written by Seiichiro Takahashi and translated by John Bester.

There is also a very goog book entitled Harunobu by Noguchi Yone which was published in 1940. However, it a limited editon and finding a copy might be a bit difficult.
