Sometimes I see something identified as the 'School of...', which I don't like the look of because I think the drawing is poor compared to other stuff produced by the master. Whether this is because the master was having a bad day, or was a poor pupil who the master let loose, or is attributable to someone else, it is difficult to say. However with Sukenobu and particularly with shunga, there might be a small sliding scale...ie with some prints I have no doubts whatsoever that something is his work. Where I am not so sure I just decide whether I like the print enough to buy it. Usually where there is some doubt, it is because the print drawing is not so high quality.
