Hi Elmer

I too have looked for ehon online but they are generally rare in themselves. Finding an Utamaro is harder still. I have seen only maybe 5 posted at the various sites we discussed over the past few years. Colour editions run from 20 to 30K for ehon and up to 70K for some albums (I am thinking of the Beres auction). The same goes for Hokusai as well. By the way, the Beres auction catalog had a few nice books and albums.

Online, Richard Kruml has the best selection of rare books. After him, I like Gianni Morra and Rolf Degener. I have only bought books from Gianni though. Sometimes they have and sell books not listed on their websites. I have not had much success with pre-ordering books.

Kunsthandel Klefisch has some books at auction sometime. Also Boston Book company sells some. I also think there are other dealers without a webpage but I have never contacted them. Does anyone know of these people?

Steve
