: What is the best way to get accurate prices for Japanese woodblock prints?

One way (not necessarily the best) is to put them up for auction at a reputable auction house. The house will give you an estimate of what the work is likely to bring and will establish a reserve below which it will not be sold--as a protection to you (there is usually a "buy-in" cost to the consignor for lots that do not sell). In terms of ascertaining prices, auction catalogues is a good source for works similar to the ones you own.
