I have a print my father bought in Canton, China attributed to Hokusai. It is a monochrome - all shades of blue. It consists of fishing boat with the family coming around a corner with Mt. Fugi in the background. The details are fine, and in the background, include two cranes on the left. I would like some information about it. This was purchase by my father between 1923 and about 1932.

I would be happy to provide you with a Xerographic copy. It appears that the width of the paper produced at that time for the print was inadequate. This print is on two pieces of paper that have been pasted together.

My father's identification of the artist may be incorrect. However, the workmanship for this print is exqusite and I find unique. More information would be apprecited.

Thank you,

Margaret Hinke Woods
