: When I saw the prints from Sheryl's book, I immediately thought that it could be a new version of Kiyochika's series, aimed at the growing tourist market. Comparing several of Kiyochika's prints with the images from the book, I couldn't find any matches, though.

: This certainly doesn't mean that your assumption is wrong, but it would be useful to learn about your reasons for attributing the book to Kiyochika or one of his followers.

Hans,
One two of the pictures you posted look similar to the ones in this book. This one especially. Could this be from an artist who copied Kiyochikas work? Or could Kiyochikas work have been altered during the creation of the wood block prints?? Thanks for you help!
