Kelly,
Hasegawa Sadanobu III (1881-1963) was born in Osaka. His given name was Nobutarô. He studied with his father Sadanobu II and specialized in prints depicting kabuki actors and female entertainers (dancers called 'maiko'). Most of his prints were published by Uchida.
'Yedo' is an older style spelling for the city of Edo (now Tokyo). The Edo period was 1615-1868 and corresponded to the official reign of the Tokugawa shoguns.
