Generally, their prints are the most available to view and there is more written on their work than any others. If you really want to learn I suggest focusing on Harunobu, who is considered as one of the first to produce multicolored ukiyo-e. You might consider focusing on the teacher-student relationship and the evolution of an artists style. For this I suggest two of my favorites... Kuniyoshi and his student Yoshitoshi.
