My father brought back from Japan in 1951 seven woodblock prints. They appear either to all be by the same artist or two artists. They are mostly landscapes with small figures. All prints are horizontal. They had titles on the back and also numbers. Part of a series? Titles are: The River Jabo *, The Snow Scene of Giou Shrine, The Golden Pavillion *; Perhaps another artist: The Willow by Outlet Shimbara, The Temple of Kegoserezu, Cherry Blossoms of Azasheyaima, Sudden Shower at Riverside of Talaso. If I understand correctly, the prints marked with an asterisk had the same printer. I do not think these are originals. To the left of each print is a vertical series of characters in pencil. Who is the artist (s)? Thanks for your help. Rebecca
