The 7mm circular seal was used for prints printed after Hasuiís death in 1957. I do not know the exact year for the introduction of the 7mm seal and I doubt that the year has been definitively established. As far as I know it appeared at least as early as the 1960s. The smaller 6mm circular seal was used directly after World War II, and possibly throughout the remainder of Hasuiís lifetime. Thus there appears to be a small gap in the confirmed history of these seals, and I do not know which seal was used in the late 1950s Ė early 1960s. The consensus, nevertheless, seems to be that the 7mm seal signifies without question posthumous impressions.
