Recently I bought a surimono print by Yoshitoshi. I like to know more about this print . It's a print of a temple guard ( shown from it's waist up ). He's looking from left to right. The body is light red, and has huge muscles. He has some sort of banner over his shoulders, and there's some ivy growing over his arms. The signature is in the top left corner, and on the right hand side there's some writing. THe print is big (39 x
32.5 cm ) and has some printing in gold and silver, and also burnishing, blind printig and mica. I bought the print at an auction, the description was "a rare shijo style surimono of a Nio temple guard by Yoshitoshi". A I said, I like to know more about this print. Thanx
