According to the "Dictionary of Japanese Artists" by Laurance P. Roberts, Utagawa Yoshimune's dates are 1817-80. He was born in Edo, was a pupil of Kuniyoshi, and produced mainly warrior prints or scenes of Yokohama.
: Can anyone provide me with information or point me to a possible source for further information on a 19th century artist called Yoshimune? All I know is he worked in the late Edo period and produced yakusha-e (actor prints).
