The hand puppet depicts probably the wrestler Mitsuuroko Ryuhachi who used this name between 1843-46. Cfr. also the likeness ('nigao') of the face of the puppet with the other print and also with the crests and colours of the ceremonial robe. Moreover, Kunisada uses the same intermediate signature from 1844.
