Hi,
I am trying to determine if this actor portrait created by Kunisada III (aka Baido Hosai, Baido Kunimasa, Kochoro, Kunimasa IV, Toyokuni V) is a memorial portrait of the actor Onoe Kikugorō V or simply a portrayal of him in a role. and the print can also be found on line at the Waseda University Theatre Museum Ukiyo-e Viewing System http://enpaku.waseda.ac.jp/db_en/enpakunishik/results-big-e.php where there is a long kanji title/description of the print.
Confirmation that by basic info is correct along with a translation of the description on the Waseda site would be most appreciated.
