Guy, good catch! I just blew right past the measurements, and assumed it was a hashira-e. (Probably paying too much attention to the Grank Prix race! :-)
Oddly enough, "The Passionate Art of Kitagawa Utamaro" (Asano and Clark, British Museum Press, London, 1995), the best Utamaro reference I know of, doesn't include any prints at all in either ko-tanzaku or hashira-e format that I could see (even though Pins shows he did many).
