Hi,
I'm baffled by several characters in the title of the Yoshitoshi print I have posted at http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/3mXymB4jiP_fyKr5IT9sXw?feat=directlink
The series title in the red cartouche is written 鹿児嶋征討全記之内 which I have seen translated as The Complete Account of the Conquest of Kagoshima.
The print title also in the red cartouche is written 海軍須口村上陸之図 The closest I can come with my very limited Japanese reading ability is Illustration of the landing of sea forces. But, this is incomplete as I believe it is missing the location where the sea forces landed which may be the characters 須 口 村 , as I know the character on the right is village.
