Scholars in the 1960's established that the 'ko-tanzaku' format became fashionable from around the 1810s on - after the death of Utamaro I in 1806. For this reason, prints in this format and also numbers of animal and flower prints in the 'chuban' format are attributed to Utamaro II.
Utamaro II's signature is nearly identical to the signature of his master.
I had a look at the text but it is too difficult for me to translate.
