The sign at the upper left in the Shuncho print is probably from a store at a corner of Suruga-chà (駿河町 - Suruga street), one of Edo's commercial centers with the typical view on Fuji san in the far distance. The Edoites would without doubt instantly have reconized the store itself. Maybe, the design was ordered by the shop owners.
