I happened to find the answer for this one (the triptych) on the website of Museum of Fine Arts Boston, who has it as a diptych (left and center panel), accession number 11.41259a-b. It is actually Utagawa Naomasa, printed 1847-52. But I still need to find out if if it is the battle of Kanazawa?
