Thanks so much. Quite an amazing print. I'm surprised its a Yoshiwara house and not the residence of a daimyo. I guess I was assuming this because of the fellow in the second panel from the left seated on a cushion surrounded by what appear to be servants. I'll assume he's an affluent customer. Thanks again. If you can add any narrative to what's going on I'd be interested. For example in the right hand panel at the lower center, there is a woman making a gesture to one of the men stoking the stoves and he's gesturing back. Do you have any idea of whats transpiring there? Thanks again for your help. belsipe
