Another possibility for the first print is that all three names are those of the same person, and that the choice of placement of the "aratame" is a clue, the overall meaning being something like:
"By Toshishige, the artist previously known both as Toshichika and as Toshimitsu"
The more that I look at it, the more that I tend to favor that interpretation. But I'm not familiar with the work of the artist(s) in question, they are somewhat obscure, as you have said.
