Everybody loves a good mystery! I've managed to get my hands on three prints from this series. I think it'll make an interesting pet project to collect them all. I understand Andrew has a print from the series (could you post the image if you're reading this?) With these four prints we should be able to make an educated guess as to the subject of the series and the number of prints it may have included. I'm thinking (hoping) it might be the four seasons. Which would make my goal...realistic.
P.S. My wife and I are going to Japan for two weeks at the end of March. We'll be in Kyoto and Tokyo. Does anyone have a favorite place to hunt for Ukiyo-e. I know of a few top notch galleries but I'm talking about any off-the-beaten-path Mom & Pop shops that have good selections.
