Hi,

Does anyone know when the crepe (chirimen-e) version (reference image posted at below url)of Hiroshige II's vertical chuban-size series Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō (Tōkaidō gojūsan eki)(1865)was published? Would the same publisher Maruya Tetsujirō have issued the crepe version?

Also, I've seen a non-crepe version of the series with a green, rather than a yellow border. Does anyone know when this version was released and can I assume Maruya Tetsujirō released it?

I've checked Noel's hiroshigeII.net site and did not see any mention of the above.
