Hi Irwin,

Please have a look at the Gallery Inkstone website (www.gallery-inkstone) there are some chirimen-bon and crepe prints in the offer and possibly you will find some additional information on this subject there.
By the way there was an article on chirimen-bon (crepe paper books) in the Daruma-Magazine issue no. 47. Its author is the Australian collector of crepe paper books Alex Byrne.
Associated with crepe paper books were the publishers Hasegawa Takejiro and Akiyama Aisaburo around 1900.
