Noel,

Thanks for checking it out. I went with the first character (or the spelling of anyway). A control find of say Kuni will take you to the signatures starting with that character.

Have another look: http://www.edoukiyoe.com/EDOGO.html

What I love about this site is its simplicity. I don’t think there’s any one source that could cover every aspect of signatures. If a signature is unknown to me I’ll use all sorts of resources to figure it out. Usually I start with the appendix of a book such as Stewart’s, then this site or Artelino. Artelino has a huge database but is difficult to navigate if you can’t ID the characters. This site is indispensable when it comes to narrowing down the individual characters.

What I wanted was a place to look through signatures quickly and comprehensibly. So I did it myself (or I should say “doing” it myself) as I made the changes you suggested I added three more signatures. As a matter of fact right now I’m tracking down a signature that has got me completely baffled.

Anyway, I considered using Flash for the page but opted for plain HTML. Load time is such a bitch. With broadband it shouldn’t take much more than 30 seconds to load the page.

Please, keep the suggestions coming. I’m going to experiment with a couple options and see how they look.

Best,
Dom
