I can't think what else it could be: there was only one Buddha statue of that size, freestanding (that is, not enclosed), in bronze in Japan at that time:

Also, if one looks only at the statue in the print (and not the surroundings) it looks just like the Kamakura Buddha (except for some small details, such as the curls all over the head). Perhaps he was drawing from memory, and got some details wrong?
