I would like to list examples of date seals from every month for the Edo period (up to 1865).
Next to nothing can be found before 1800. And of course there are years when date seals were not used.
As you might suspect, I was not able to find a number of dates from 1800 to 1814. If anyone has any it would be great if you could email them to me at: domgilormini@gmail.com
If you know any search tricks at any of the Japanese museum databases that would be great to.
