In my opinion the correct partial reading of the title is "Kōkoku rekidai kinō". An alternative character for 'reki' 歴 is 厯.

'Kōkoku' means Japan, the Japanese Empire; 'rekidai' successive generations and 'kinō' imperialism, loyalism.
Remains the last kanji...
