The print signed "Ippitsusai Bunchō ga" (with seal) depicts the actor Ichikawa Benzō I (1743-94) playing the role of Soga no Dansaburō in the drama "Soga Moyō Aigo no Wakamatsu, performed at the Nakamura theatre in Edo, 1st month 1769.
Bunchō depicted also the other actors involved in this performance.
