This is a reproduction woodblock print after a Hokusai painting.

The painting is believed to have perished when the warehouse of Kobayashi Bunshichi burnt down. Probably together with a few hundred works by Hokusai, and several thousand of other ukiyo-e paintings.
Kobayashi Bunshichi was an ukiyoe dealer in Tokyo at the turn of the century. He was the main supplier to Hayashi Tadamasa (Paris) and very good friend of Ernest Fenollosa.
It is probably not a part of the group to which Hans-Olof refers as most paintings in this series (published in envelops of twelve) comes from collections around Kyoto/Osaka.
