I think, it is a good example for the theme: original or fake. The triptychs are from different blocks. In my eye, the 1500 looks like as an original. The folds in the black towel in the hand of the woman on the right sheet are in the 1478 not logical. In Shibui it is 36-2-1,2,3, in Collia-Suzuki page 407, No. 376. She gives BM (British Museum) (rigt sheet); BOS (Museum of Fine Arts, Boston) (left sheet); NY (New York Public Library); TNM (Tokyo National Museum)1997, 1998, 1999.
Shibui and TNM is from the same blocks as 1500.
BM, I think, is their No. 1906,1220,0.348. Unfortunatly it is without picture online.
There are much more fakes in international museums, as we hope. Your eye is very sharp, indeed.
