I am interested to see that the character for 'katsu' (apparently 勝, in modern sources) does not look much like the one he has drawn here - although I suppose one can see it, if he drew it in a hurry and left out some strokes.

The character for 'tei', which I take to be 亭, is even odder: he has at least one extra horizontal stroke in the box which is on the top of the character. Or perhaps he has extended both sides up to the top bar (which would account for both horizontal strokes - the top and bottom of the box) - but in theory one is supposed to draw the top and right-hand side of a box with one stroke, which he clearly has not!

But I have seen this character drawn this way before, by other artists (since it means 'restaurant', so one finds it in titles), so it's not really that unusual, I guess - although none of my dictionaries list it as a variant form.
