This print is very interesting because of the large official Dai-Sho calender seen mounted on the wall in the background. This is very rare indeed to see in a single sheet print (here, part of a triptych).
Also the derelict wall, we can see the construction of the “kabe” (traditional type of wall), which is similar in technique to a Tudor period house wall, timber, wattle (woven sticks/rush and daub (a clay mixture).
