Japanese calligraphic script is terribly difficult to read, as are stylized characters used in seals. I'm sure that the first character is "matsu" or "shou", which is the first character of my favorite artist's name, "Shotei". The second character is less definite, but I'm thinking "nami". Therefore, my tentative reading of the artist's name is Matsunami. There was a lacquer artist by that name, but not a print artist that I can find reference to.

Bottom line: my best guess is "Matsunami", but it is an unsatisfying guess, at best.

Perhaps someone more experienced in reading Japanese will weigh in here.
