I can see no reason to question the attribution of the print to Yoshifuji. He very often used hiragana for the first part of his name, writing 'yo' and 'shi' on top of each other in one single stroke (see above). Due to tear of the woodblock or the print itself, most of the kana 'shi' is invisible on Bill's picture, however.

Also I have compared the kanji 'fuji' with other prints by the artist, without finding any apparent inconsistencies.
