Sorry I pointed you in the wrong direction in the beginning. I thought the whole print looked very Utamaro II. :-) Fortunately Guy found the right answer - he nearly always gets there in the end.

As for the date seal, it most certainly suggests that the print was published in 1805, and consequently that it was designed by Utamaro I. However, there seem to be two slightly different versions of the seal (see the red circles above).

The version to the right, illustrating the chapter heading in Ishii Kendô´s book, is the one on your print. The other one is in the descriptive part of the chapter, and it is also reproduced in the Hotei Encyclopedia. To me it looks like a significant difference, but then I have no expertise whatsoever in Japanese seal script. Hopefully, we'll know more when Guy reunites with his reference library.
