Hello All,

I recently found this print and I believe it's by Eishi Chobunsai and is called Itsuhan - I was able to do a reverse image search and found it in the JAODB site. My question is how can I tell if it's an original from the 1800's or a reprint from the 1920-30's?

The papers much darker than any other woodblock in my collection but there's extensive bleed through and the print is covered with what I believe is Mica dust. The bottom left hand corner has some characters imprinted into it which I also have not seen before.

Any thoughts on this? I'd appreciate any feedback!

Here's a link to a gallery with 4 photos of the print - front, back, and the imprinted characters: http://imgur.com/a/vuYeZ#0

Thanks!!
