Going under the assumption that it was a publisher's seal, I looked for it in Marks, but I didn't see it.

But I'm not sure it is a publisher's seal. Most impressions online have a different seal there (see image here: http://data.ukiyo-e.org/mfa/images/sc164589.jpg), which matches the one in the book I looked in. I looked for that seal in Marks, hoping it would lead me to yours, but no luck.

But when I looked at the entries, e.g. at the MFA:

and at the British Museum:

they do show that seal, but the MFA one says 'No publisher', and the BM one reads out several seals, but not that one.

Maybe it's a poet's seal? (The book gives the poem, but not, alas, the name of the poet.)
