I list in my "Hori-shi" more than 360 seals of about 100 Edo-engravers. It is a useful help for quickly identifying of engravers-seals on Japanese woodblock-prints in the time of 1848-1900. Sporadically there are also acquainted earlier seals. The different seals are related to specified engraver-personnaged and families. The naming of references shows a view which engraver has worked with which artist. Also the temporary turn up of the used seals had been considered. A register developes the multitude of facsimile-reproductions.
