The Shizuoka Prefectural Library has a copy (their reference K915-108-022-045) of a Hiroshige III print titled Gathering Shellfish at Low Tide at Fukagawa Susaki from the series Famous Views of Modern Tokyo (東京開華名所図絵之内 深川洲崎汐干狩) which has an interesting round seal at the bottom. While at first glance it looks like a zodiac date seal I am not sure that it is and I cannot locate the seal in either the Self book or Marks. (I also believe this print was published in 1876 when a date seal was not required.) If you copy and paste the below very long URL and enlarge the image as much as possible the seal will be visible in great detail. For another copy of the print please see the Tokyo Digital Museum (Edo-Tokyo Museum) ref. No. 91220225. Neither the Tokyo Digital Museum print or the print in my collection carry this circular seal. A reading of the seal would be greatly appreciated.
